eNGINE is hiring a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level business intelligence solutions. This role requires deep expertise across the full BI stack — including the data layer, semantic layer, and visualization layer — to ensure metric consistency, performance, and data integrity across all reporting platforms.

The ideal candidate brings advanced Power BI development experience, strong SQL expertise, and a strong understanding of scalable data modeling and reporting architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports for enterprise stakeholders
• Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and optimized data models
• Architect and manage the semantic layer to ensure consistent KPIs and metric definitions across the organization
• Partner with data engineering teams to design and optimize the data layer for reporting and analytics use cases
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Improve report performance through model optimization, query tuning, and best-practice implementation
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation across reporting solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable BI solutions
• Establish and document BI standards, governance, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• DAX (advanced calculations, performance tuning)
• Data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, best practices)
• Report optimization and performance tuning
• Data layer architecture (warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes)
• Semantic layer design and governance
• Visualization best practices and storytelling with data
• Strong SQL experience (query optimization, complex joins, aggregations, window functions)
• Experience ensuring KPI alignment and metric consistency across enterprise reporting
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues across the BI stack

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise or highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with Azure, Fabric, or modern cloud data platforms
• Experience implementing BI governance frameworks
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
