This is a fully onsite role that will be responsible for performing job aspects in Rostraver Township (15012)
CHS has partnered with an innovative manufacturer to hire a hands-on Robotics Technician to support the development and implementation of new automated and robotic production technologies. This role combines technical work with hands-on responsibilities, supporting glass manufacturing processes from setup to analysis in a dynamic, team-driven environment.
Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
Pay: $50K-60K annually, based on experience
What You’ll Do:
Set up, operate, and evaluate results from automated and robotic production equipment
Partner with engineering to complete daily work plans involving equipment maintenance, programming, and repairs
Perform hands-on manufacturing preparation tasks such as material batching, furnace and mold preparation, and process analysis
Accurately document process parameters and outcomes in alignment with quality system requirements
Prepare and submit professional, timely trial and process reports
Develops part and process specific documentation for the integration of products into new or existing manufacturing processes while supporting the industrialization of small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Engineering Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience; at least 2 years in robotics, controls, or automation strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on technical work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated, organized approach to work
