Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst, who is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies
- Experience translating business requirements to technical/functional requirements
- Change Management Experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and needs
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
- Document business requirements in a clear and structured format
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by helping to create test scripts based on business and functional requirements
- Maintain documentation for traceability and audit purposes
- Assist project managers in tracking tasks and milestones to ensure alignment with timelines
- Monitor completion of deliverables and escalate risks or issues, as needed
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates and insights
- Compile and deliver regular reports on project status, risks, and issues
