Position Summary
The Manager of Data and Evaluation will work under the direction of the Director of Programs to design and implement evaluation plans and tools for our workforce development and women-centered empowerment programs. You will manage a range of activities including research, data analysis, and program reporting, ensuring the integrity of our data and deriving meaningful insights that enhance program fidelity and impact.
Duties and Responsibilities
Program Evaluation (20-40% of hours, combination virtual/in-person)
Collaborate with leadership to create and implement evaluation plans for all programs.
Work with the Director of Programs to establish annual outcomes and standards that align with our mission and strategic initiatives.
Develop processes to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and evaluation activities.
Create, revise, and manage the administration of data collection instruments, extracting meaningful insights from the data.
Data Analysis and Reporting (40-60% of hours, combination virtual/in-person)
Serve as the lead manager and technician for our client Case Management CRM (Sumac by Societ), ensuring all Programs staff are trained and using the system consistently.
Develop consistent definitions for data analysis and reporting metrics.
Manage day-to-day data collection, entry, and analysis for reports, ensuring accuracy and meaningful insights.
Work with staff to understand their data needs and provide analysis and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
Create internal documents and support the creation of external documents summarizing evaluation and learning results.
Facilitate discussions that support data interpretation and decision-making.
Lead the codification and documentation of program evaluation processes.
Collaborate with the Development team to ensure compliance with funders, state, and federal contracts, providing timely and accurate data for all reporting requirements.
Research (10-30% of hours, combination virtual/in-person)
Research promising practices in workforce development and the state of women in Pennsylvania, incorporating findings into PA Women Work programs and deriving implications for our work.
Other duties, responsibilities, or projects may be assigned.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, business, data science, or social sciences.
5+ years of experience in data analysis, database management, and reporting within a nonprofit or public agency.
Familiarity with nonprofit evaluation models (e.g., logic models, theory of change, results-based analysis).
Experience with CRM systems and data management.
Strong planning, project management, and execution skills, capable of handling multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey findings to non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
Knowledge of workforce development issues and trends, particularly related to women.
Compensation & Benefits: $49,000-$57,000, Full-time, salary, exempt, health insurance (including vision and dental), and 403(b) account. Work/life balance with generous paid time off and paid holiday schedule.
