Tikes is a woman-owned association/event management company headquartered in Pittsburgh with over three decades of industry experience. We are looking for someone to join our team as a support administrator who shows the potential to grow with our small company. This position will provide an exciting opportunity to work with executives and business leaders throughout the region.
- Provide online and in-person event registration support to event and conference attendees - Assist with program and sponsorship outreach to C-Suite and business executives - Oversee company mailings - Provide logistical support for company events and conferences - virtual and in-person - Act as the initial point of contact for customers and visitors - Other office duties as directed (e.g., filing, answering phones)
- Preferred college education or experience in a related field (e.g., project manager, support assistant) - Exceptional ability to prioritize time and tasks to execute reliably - Comfortable communicating with C-Suite and business executives - Fluency in Zoom, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite - Outstanding attention to detail, especially as it relates to written communication - Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion - Willingness to travel regionally for events and conferences - Ability to perform light physical labor
Exceptional candidates will have:
- Experience with CRM software platforms (Act Pro) and research skills - Experience collaborating with people working remotely - Familiarity with business development or event planning industry - Bookkeeping experience
