Lead V2V communications engineering for company’s ARC technology
Work with control systems engineers to understand requirements for V2V bandwidth, latency, reliability, and similar performance metrics
Select and test V2V hardware (chipsets, radios, antennae) for integration into ARC prototypes and products
Participate in vehicle testing activities and measure performance in real-world deployments
Monitor industry trends and establish partnerships with vendors
B.S. in electrical/electronics engineering, communications engineering, or similar field
Solid experience developing wireless communications applications, preferably for in-vehicle applications or similar dynamic environments
Familiar with all layers of the OSI model as they apply to V2V applications
Familiar with existing and emerging V2V standards (e.g. DSRC, WAVE, C-V2X, etc.)
An advanced degree in the aforementioned fields
Experience developing embedded software for AV or ADAS applications
Knowledge of cyber-security principles
Familiar with functional safety principles e.g. ISO 26262
